Accessibility
School districts have their own accessibility obligations, and the tools they bring in should not create new barriers. Here's where DistrictWise stands.
Our target
We build DistrictWise toward WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the standard most California public-agency accessibility policies reference.
Current status
We have not completed a formal third-party accessibility audit. Conformance to WCAG 2.1 AA has not been independently verified.
What we have done: internal Lighthouse accessibility runs against the marketing site and the staff portal, and manual keyboard-only spot-checks. We take the honest floor over a grand false claim.
What we're doing about it
We test the portal and extension with keyboard-only navigation and screen readers as part of our development process, and we prioritize accessibility fixes when they're reported. A formal VPAT (Voluntary Product Accessibility Template) is on the roadmap for districts that need one for their own procurement review.
